2 、摘要

本提案中,核心开发团队在 WPC 开放领取之前,提出了更新 WPC 智能合约以实现 WPC 面额拆分 1000 倍,在以太坊上支持 WPC 一键领取,以及降低 WPC 的产出速率的具体方案,并详细阐明了原因以及目的。

3 、动机

原有的 WPC 智能合约存在一定的历史局限性,其总量设计和发行方式不利于 WePiggy 作为一个谋求长期发展的去中心化借贷协议的发展,以及 WPC 本身在市场中的竞争力。

核心开发团队提议在 WPC 开放领取之前,参考波卡链在开放 DOT 流通之前的方式,对其进行一次彻底的复盘和更新,为 WePiggy 未来的发展和 WPC 的成长空间铺平道路。

4 、正文

4.1 WPC 面额拆分 1000 倍

核心开发团队提议修改 WPC 智能合约,将 WPC 面额拆分 1000 倍。

即:原有的 WPC 总量上限理论值为:8,006,400(约800万)个,升级后代币总量上限理论值为:8,006,400,000(约80亿)个。

也就是说,不管目前已挖出或未挖出的 WPC,都将放大 1000 倍。举例来说,原本待领取的 WPC 为 100 个,智能合约升级后,将获得 100 x 1000 = 100,000 个。

这是核心开发团队经过深思熟虑后的一个提议。波卡链在开放 DOT 流通之前也曾有过类似的投票和修改。

这个修改的优点在于:

1 . 降低新用户持有和使用 WPC 的心理门槛,有助于吸引更为广泛的人群加入 WePiggy 社区;

2 . 为核心开发团队和社区志愿者对 WePiggy 协议的应用和推广带来更大的便利性;

3 . 由于目前 WPC 尚未开放领取,此刻所采取的拆分技术改动,对社区成员和各类合作伙伴所带来的影响最小,不会产生任何历史遗留问题。

4.2 在以太坊上支持“一键领取”存币矿池中的 WPC

核心开发团队提议修改 WPC 智能合约,在以太坊上支持“一键领取”存币矿池中的 WPC。

受限于智能合约逻辑,在以太坊上挖矿的用户必须对所有参与挖矿的 pToken 池、aToken 池、cToken 池,以及单币池逐一执行领取操作。

目前的以太坊的网络手续费居高不下,对于在多个矿池存币的用户而言,领取操作将是一笔不小的成本开销。

核心开发团队期望通过更新 WPC 智能合约,加总用户在各矿池合约中所记录的待领取 WPC,并提供“一键领取”的功能,为用户节约领取成本。

4.3 降低 WPC 的产出速率

核心开发团队提议修改 WPC 智能合约,降低 WPC 的产出速率。

目前的 WPC 智能合约中的释放逻辑过于复杂,不适用于 WePiggy 协议长期发展和多链部署的需求。一方面,以太坊网络的实际出块速率与理论值已经存在了较大偏移,导致按照区块每日线性递减产出的 WPC 产量也会发生了偏差。另一方面,频繁试算和调整 WPC 跨链激励池的挖矿权重,也增加出错可能性和技术成本。

核心开发团队提议:

1. 计算出未来可用的 WPC 数量

目前,在扣除所有已经产出的 WPC(大约 270 万,由于以太坊出块速度目前快于 15 秒的理论值,因此 WPC 产量高于预期)之后,未来还有大约 530 万个 WPC。

2. 以每 4 年减半一次的方式,阶梯式释放未来可用的 WPC 数量

为了更贴近以太坊主网的真实出块速率,我们将按照 13.2秒/区块计算。也就是说,在以太坊主网上,每一个自然天大约有:60x60x24 / 13.2 ≈ 6545 个区块

如果未来可用的 WPC 数量约为 530 万,以及每 4 年减产比例为 1/2,通过等比数列的求和公式倒推,即可求出:WPC 智能合约更新后第一个 4 年的释放速率应为:0.28 WPC / 区块

相较目前的速率,大约减产 70%。

按照 4.1 所述,WPC 拆分 1000 倍后的实际速率为:0.28 x 1000 = 280 WPC/区块

3. 将调整后产出的 WPC,按原有比例,分配到社区挖矿和基金会原先约定的各个资金池合约

分配的比例不变,依然是:社区占有约 71.94% 的代币,WePiggy 基金会占有约 28.06%。

另外,核心开发团队正在计划取消以太坊上的 pToken 挖矿机制,更改为其他网络的存币和借币挖矿机制。具体内容将在后续提案中详细阐述。

2. Abstract

In this proposal, the core development team proposes a specific solution to upgrade the WPC smart contract to realize WPC token split of 1000x, support WPC One-Click claim on Ethereum, and reduce WPC distribution speed. The reason and purpose are also explained in detail.

3. Motivation

The original WPC smart contract has certain historical limitations. The total amount and distribution methods in original tokenomics are not conducive to the development of WePiggy, a decentralized lending protocol that seeks long-term development, and the competitiveness of WPC itself in the market.

The core development team proposes to refer to the experience of Polkadot to conduct a thorough review and update before WPC is open for claim, paving the way for the future development of WePiggy and creating a broader space for the growth of WPC.

4. Specification

4.1 WPC Token Split of 1000x

The core development team proposes to upgrade the WPC smart contract to split the WPC token by 1,000 times.

That is, the theoretical upper limit of the original WPC total amount is 8,006,400 (~8 million), and the theoretical upper limit of the total amount of tokens after the upgrade is 8,006,400,000 (~8 billion).

In other words, regardless of whether the WPC has been mined or not, it will be enlarged by 1000 times. For example, the number of WPCs to be claimed was originally 100. After the smart contract is upgraded, you will get 100 x 1000 = 100,000.

This is a proposal made by the core development team after careful consideration. Polkadot previously had similar voting and modification before the official release of DOT.

The advantages of this upgrade are:

1 . Lower the psychological barriers for new users to hold and use WPC, and help attract a wider range of users to join the WePiggy community;

2 . Bring greater convenience to the core development team and community volunteers in the application and promotion of the WePiggy protocol;

3 . Since WPC is not yet open for claim, the technical change of splitting adopted at this moment will have minimal impact on community members and various partners, and will not cause any historical problems.

4.2 Support One-Click Claim of WPC in the Deposit Mining Pools on Ethereum

The core development team proposes to upgrade the WPC smart contract to support One-Click claim of WPC in the deposit mining pool on Ethereum.

According to the logic of the original smart contract, users who mine on Ethereum must claim WPC tokens in all pToken pools, aToken pools, cToken pools, and other pools one by one.

The current gas fees on Ethereum are high, and for users who are mining in multiple pools, the claiming operation will be a significant cost.

The core development team expects to upgrade the WPC smart contract to add up the WPCs to be claimed by users in each mining pool contract, and provide the One-Click Claim function to save users’ costs.

4.3 Reduce WPC Distribution Speed

The core development team proposes to upgrade the WPC smart contract to reduce the distribution speed of WPC.

The distribution logic in the current WPC smart contract is too complicated and is not suitable for the long-term development of the WePiggy protocol and the needs of multi-chain deployment. On the one hand, the actual block speed of the Ethereum network has already deviated greatly from the theoretical value, resulting in a deviation in the actual output of WPC. On the other hand, frequent trial calculations and adjustments to the mining weight of the WPC cross-chain incentive pool also increase the possibility of errors and technical costs.

The core development team proposes:

1. Calculate the amount of WPC available in the future

At present, after deducting all WPCs that have been produced (approx 2.7 million, because the Ethereum block speed is currently faster than the theoretical value of 15 sec/block, the WPC real output is higher than expected), there are about 5.3 million WPCs in the future.

2. Distribute WPC in a stepwise manner by halving them every 4 years

In order to be closer to the real block speed of the Ethereum mainnet, we will calculate it based on 13.2 seconds/block. In other words, on the Ethereum mainnet, each natural day has approximately: 60x60x24 / 13.2 ≈ 6545 blocks

If the amount of available WPCs in the future is about 5.3 million, and the reduction ratio is 1/2 every 4 years, though simple calculation we can find out the distribution speed in the first 4 years is approx 0.28 WPC/block .

Compared with the current distribution speed, reduced by about 70%.

As described in 4.1 , the actual distribution speed of WPC after splitting is 0.28 x 1000 = 280 WPC/block

3. The adjusted WPC tokens will be distributed to the previously agreed community and foundation fund pool contracts according to the original proportions

The proportion of the distribution remains the same: the community owns about 71.94% and the WePiggy Foundation owns about 28.06%.

In addition, the core development team is planning to remove the pToken mining mechanism on Ethereum and replace it with the same deposit and borrow mining mechanism as other networks. The details will be elaborated in the follow-up proposal.

同意 以太坊上wpc一键领取太省钱了

从吸引用户角度层面,拆分1000倍甚至10000倍都可以理解,这对于新用户是比较友好的。不过,希望项目方能更多考虑老用户的利益,尤其是那些从项目启动之初就在默默支持的用户,因为他们原本可以用投在小猪里的资金在牛市中博取更大的利润。

第一:一键领取的功能 双手赞同。
第二:之前的代币数量800w枚确实会有导致单币价格过高,影响其他用户参与进来。其实拆分1000倍到80亿或者100倍到8亿,短期来看对所有人都是一个好消息。长期来看的话,主要还是看后续产品的开发和运营情况,希望小猪越来越好吧。

支持一键领取

非常好!拆分绝对是利好,有利于吸纳散户,毕竟大部分人是不看流通量、市值这些的,单币太贵,拿到手里的币数量太少,就是一种劣势。早点拆分,省的以后发了币再拆,那个时候才麻烦,不管是技术上,还是合作上。

一键领取太重要了,像我们这种cToken,aToken,挖矿开始的老用户,这样可以给我省好多claim的费用,感动哭了!

每四年减半,跟目前速率相比“减产70%”,我的看法是,这样会让初期的币价高一些,奖励APY才能好看,具体还看后面怎么改这个激励机制。发币前的WPC激励没那么明显,发了币就是实打实的收益,那个奖励权重要谨慎处理,避免过多白嫖。如果没有2池,尽量要照顾收入源,并最大的吸收TVL。希望小猪团队能谨慎谨慎再谨慎。

仔细斟酌,若从平台长远发展 拆分对新用户、空投等 是友好的,但上线流通就接近30亿,会面临上线抛盘风险。 能否从comp AAVE 大嘴中翘过来TVL 这个质押挖矿 APY是重要的支撑。希望小猪稳步前行!走一看三。

2、降低了挖矿速率意味着上线时的实际挖矿apy没有现在的高,然后项目方在上线初期又要保持一定的apy才能获得热度吸引用户,压力还是比较大的,望做好充分准备。

感谢大部分社区成员都能理解。我们是做实事的项目,不装逼,实话实说。

拆分的理由在提案里其实写的很清楚,也有不少先例。这里做点补充:

一些有投资经验的社区成员很早就私下里强烈建议 WPC 拆分,比特币都只有 2100 万个。比BTC总量少会引起不必要成长空间上的麻烦,这也是波卡社区为什么发起拆分的原因。

拆分对价值和市值没有影响,但对人的心理有影响,

对于比BTC要少的币,早晚都要拆,晚拆不如早拆,后面想拆反而拆不动了。

像 YFI 等希望拆分10000倍,但是交易所不支持。以及一直有BTC社区在号召拆分到以聪为单位,降低投资者心理门槛。

核心开发团队经过慎重考虑还是决定接受建议,发起了这个提案。

减产主要是为了后面引入新的存币和借币挖矿机制,形成护城河。这个下一个提案会展开讲。

目前核心开发团队需要为领取做的开发有点多(跨链桥,各种池子,合约撰写和更新,以及产品功能和界面的调整)。

要一个个来,一边通过提案获得社区的授权和支持,并且同步进度,另一边推动开发和准备宣发。

希望大家在这个过程中,也多多帮忙。

Well, I see where you’re coming from with the psychological point of view. You’ll have more people wanting to invest in a lower price of a token. Seeing as it wouldn’t affect the people who already mined, I don’t see why I’d vote no.

I think 1,000 times is too much though. 8B may be too much. 100 times maybe?
